Heave oh!173 viewsThis Trout lake had very heavily discoulered water with a very bad algae problem. After several discussions with the Environment Agency as to the causes of algae, discolouration etc. it was concluded that the Coarse fish occupying the Trout lake needed removing.

A "gang" effort165 viewsSo, we dropped the level of water in the lake and removed most of the Coarse fish. Since then, a leak in one bank has been plugged and many water plants have been planted. The lake has been "rested" to give the juvenile plants the opportunity to root.
