Biggest Carp of 2005!!678 viewsCaught on the 10th June 2005 by Gary Robinson of Abercynon, on a large piece of Luncheon Meat. Gary was extremely lucky to land the fish as it had swum around the back of an aerator, by holding his rod as high as he was able to coax the line over the plastic aerator, then control and finally land the fish. The Mirror carp weighed 24lb 4oz and is the biggest so far the year.

Since we stocked it during the middle of 2004 the Carp have got "Pot Bellies" from feeding on the abundant Natural Food that exists in this lake. In future years this lake should be brilliant.
