Code of Good Practice Ensure careful handling of fish at all times. No walking about carrying any fish at any time.

No standing when taking your "fishy" pictures; Please kneel and preferably over an un-hooking mat or long grass.

Wherever possible please unhook your fish in the landing net held between your knees. If you must unhook fish on the ground we insist on a carp mat being used.

Landing nets supplied by yourselves must be of a suitable size and of Carp friendly material. All personal nets must be dipped for at least 10 minutes in the disinfectant tubs provided at the entrance to the Fishery. We Find that the best way of doing this is - submerge them in the tubs as soon as you arrive, before doing anythinge else; Then when you have finished faffing about, collecting your gear, choosing a peg etc., th 10 minutes will have passed easily!

Please ensure that feed/groundbaits are only used in moderation?

Please clear away any rubbish into the bins provided around the fishery before leaving your peg?

Plastic chairs are available f.o.c, please return them to the main gate at the end of your session.

Here you can read the Fishery's Rules.

Our normal opening times are "sunrise to sunset" which means that the daily access times will vary throughout the season.

Should you arrive early and need assistance please don't ring the Fishery bell for help but be patient and we'll help you at a sensible hour! The "Fishery Bell" is located on the left hand side of the doorway under the verandah of the Fishery Lodge building in the center of the Car Park.
