Lady Facilities: Nine Oaks, has proper mains toilets that are located in the Fishery Lodge Building situated in the middle of the car park, with hot and cold water, soap, towel, Mirror and lockable door. The toilets are regularly cleaned.
There are tea and coffee brewing facilities with Mugs, cups (no saucers), glasses, plates and knives and forks; all in the kitchenette in the Lodge. Where you will also find tables and chairs in the little rest room, along with books and magazines (mostly about fishing - sorry!).
There are also some picnic, bench style tables around the Fishery and a few bench seats and plenty of plastic “pic-nic” chairs, which you are welcome to use. However, please return them back to the stack when finished with. It is Bill’s “pet hate” at the end of the day going around the fishery gathering the loose chairs, please be kind to him and return your chair!
We do not charge for any visitor visiting or sitting with their “other half”, which means that you are welcome to visit any time and stay however long you like.
Pets are also welcome, provided that they are kept under control and are not allowed to become a nuisance to everyone else. We do expect you to collect and clean up any “doo dahs” that they may deposit. There are plenty of black bins, with black bin bags, around for disposal of all non-recyclable rubbish. The re-cycle bins have clear plastic bags, please use them accordingly.
In the Tackle Shop, we have a small stock of chocolate bars and the like, plus a small variety of cold drinks, water and ice Lollies.
Although this is a “Fishery” we do not leave the grass to become long, straggly and difficult to walk through. It is kept neat and tidy, although not cut as short as a lawn, it is nevertheless kept well presented.
At the beginning of each day we inspect the fishery for rubbish and any bit’s of tackle left behind, by the not so meticulous or careful visitor. So, you should find everywhere is kept clean and tidy.
Should you think about staying with us, in our holiday accommodation, you are welcome to view them when they are empty, or, usually at weekends, late mornings/early afternoons when they have almost been cleaned. We pride ourselves on having some of the best and clean holiday accommodation anywhere, especially on any fishery. We keep our accommodation spotlessly clean and fresh, as we ourselves would like to find it if we were on a fishing or family holiday.
